Frenkie De Jong is an incredibly well-rounded Shapeshifter due to his combination of balanced attributes, and the ability to play in the midfield or as part of your defensive core. However, De Jong is more than just a defensive presence, as his high attacking work rate combines well with his Flair, Finesse Shot, and Outside Foot Shot Traits.
While his defensive capabilities are not to be underestimated, De Jong shines in a deep-lying midfield role where he can showcase his excellent range of passing skills while dribbling past other midfielders. You can move De Jong up or keep him back to fit your play style, as his attributes lend themselves to a range of positions.
Riyadh Mahrez makes the move from the wing to the central area where he excels as a Striker with a dangerous shot. His 99 Finishing and 97 Shot Power ensure that Mahrez will be effective at shooting from various areas of the pitch.
Inside the box, he is clinical, but it's Mahrez's deadly long shots from outside the box that will devastate unsuspecting opponents who give you even an inch of space to shoot. He possesses everything a finesse Striker needs ’ from attributes to traits like Outside Foot Shot, and Finesse Shot that will almost guarantee a goal per game.
Despite his spotty form in real life, it's unsurprising that EA has made yet another broken Dembele card for us to enjoy. Unfortunately, his price makes him one of the most expensive Shapeshifters in cheap EAFC 24 Coins, so you'll need to get lucky or save a ton of coins to get your hands on this gem.
