The first round of the 2016 NFL Draft is in the books. And, well, wow, what a round. Seriously, that was insane. Someone wore a crop top tuxedo to the red carpet and another guy fell 10 spots or so because someone hacked his Twitter account and leaked a bong-hit photo.Welcome to 2016, everyone!Seriously, when was the last time you saw a draft unfold like the first round this year? Weird things happen in the draft but this first round was . Plenty of talent remains on the board but we need to figure out who came away with a good first night and who didn't. Ezekiel Elliott:Hard to imagine a better situation for the hyper-talented running back out of Ohio State. He , Jerome Bettis Jersey which means hes starting out of the gate, which means hes getting tons of carries behind what could very well be the best offensive line in football.In 2014, Dallas dominated because DeMarco Murray ran the ball well behind that line. In 2015 the struggled due to injuries to and , but the running game wasnt great either. Elliott will fix that, and hes worth where he was picked -- hes a three-down back with underrated hands and is an exceptional pa s protector. Thats critical for Romos health as well. Talk (@CSNBears) Elliott rushed for more than 1,800 yards in each of his last two years at Ohio State while averaging more than 6 yards per carry each season. He had 696 yards in against Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon down the stretch in 2014. He is an animal and he is going to go wild next season.Paxton Lynch: Buried in the hype around Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, Lynch got a raw deal in terms of coverage during this draft. It worked out fine for him, though, because he landed in a perfect position. You could argue he's a quarterback you would like to see sit for a year, but his skillset is perfect for Gary Kubiak's offense in Denver. The will use his athleticism to roll him out and get him on the edge; there are plenty of weapons on Denver's roster.He's also going to be under the tutelage of John Elway and only battling and Veteran To Be Named Later for the starting gig. Add in the ability to play on a team committed to running the ball while playing great defense and it's a huge win for Lynch. : Not sure there's a team drafting better than the Cardinals right now. Steve Keim and Bruce Arians are creative in their methodology and willing to take risks on guys who might have character i sues. They won't David Long Jr. Jersey be picking in the second round, but think about their haul for the first two rounds so far: Robert Nkemdiche and . They took a weakne s -- pa s rush -- and just turned it into a strength. Nkemdiche has character i sues (falling out of a hotel window and having weed on your person is a slight red flag) but the Cards are the type of organization capable of taming even the wildest horses. The Arizona defense is going to be scary in 2016. : Feels like it has been a while for this. Or maybe we write this every April and just forget about it later on. The and landed a bunch of picks from the Eagles. Then they moved down again, , netting a third-round pick this year andsecond-rounder in 2017 from the Titans. It's the perfect way to play this draft, especially when you have a roster bereft of talent. Cleveland needs bodies and outside of the top-heavy portion of the draft, it's best to be in that top-100 range. The Browns took Baylor wideout Corey Coleman with the No. 15 pick and he's a baller, even if he's a little bit raw. The Browns aren't trying to win next season. They're targeting the future. And they're also first on the clock Nick Scott Jersey with No. 32 overall on Day 2 of the draft. Laremy Tunsil: You could say that Tunsil is a borderline winner because he managed to go in the first round at all. In what absolutely qualifies as the weirdest draft-day situation I've ever experienced, Tunsil had someone hack his Twitter account and post a video of him smoking out of a bong/gas mask. The video was old but it was still out there.Then someone hacked his Instagram and posted alleged texts he had with an Ole Mi s coach involving paying for bills. Credit Tunsil for being honest about both situations and he should consider himself lucky he ended up with the where he did. The freefall could've continued for quite some time. It's a nice addition for and hopefully he turns into a feel- Taylor Rapp Jersey good story. But people are going to keep their eyes on Tunsil. Alabama: The Crimson Tide are the reigning college champions. They had a stacked defense. They were going to send tons of dudes to the NFL in the first round.Yeaaaah. About that.North Dakota State had the same number of first round picks as Alabama. It should be a heavy second day for the Tide but it was surprising to see how few of Nick Saban's players made it into the first round.Myles Jack: At one point I thought Jaylon Smith might sneak into the first round because of the fifth-year option available. Never a chance, not with Jack -- potentially one of the best players in the draft in a vaccum -- falling out of the first round. Jack's a monster but his comments the night before the draft were a big enough red flag to cause him to fall out of the first round completely. This quote to me from Myles Jack today about his knee can hardly be comforting to teams. Someone is going to take a chance in the second Sony Michel Jersey round (right??) but clearly teams are concerned.You can fall out of a hotel intoxicated during the draft proce s or have a video of you smoking weed with a gas mask on leak right before the draft, but just make sure you don't have a knee injury if you want to get drafted.Colin Kaepernick/Sam Bradford: These two guys were probably holding out hope they might end up landing in Denver if nothing materialized for the Broncos in terms of a quarterback during the draft.Instead, Denver landed Lynch and now any hope of a deal for a big name like Kap or Bradford is over. The Broncos are going to go with Lynch and Mark Sanchez and Kap is going to have to play nice with Chip Kelly. Bradford should probably start answering Doug Pederson's phone calls.
